lab boutique is the culmination of the Saint-Michel Entrepreneurship Lab, an initiative that supports young people in Saint-Michel in developing their skills, business ideas, and entrepreneurial spirit. In the summer of 2026, this project will come to life at the corner of Jarry East and D’Iberville Streets in the form of a micro-business housed in a shipping container.

Conceived as a pilot project, Lab Boutique will offer a selection of products and services conceived, produced, or sold by young local entrepreneurs: coffee, ice cream, clothing, reusable bags, handmade cosmetics, thrift store finds, African braids, and much more.

Beyond its commercial aspect, lab Boutique is a true space for experimentation and learning. The project aims to promote the social and professional integration of young people, support the emergence of new entrepreneurial initiatives, and contribute to the vitality of a sector undergoing rapid transformation.

By creating concrete opportunities to develop skills, test business ideas, and engage with customers, lab Boutique helps build a more dynamic, inclusive, and creative local economy.
