Keithy Antoine

Keithy Antoine is a Quebec native born in Haiti who lives in Montreal. She is a visual artist, graphic designer, facilitator, and social entrepreneur.

Visual artist and member of the Canada Council for the Arts. Member of Wecaners, a collective of artists of African descent. Member of Culture Montréal’s Cultural Citizenship Commission. She exhibits internationally (Louisiana, Guadeloupe, Cameroon) and has created permanent works at Howard Park in Parc-Extension in Montreal. She was invited to create artwork for the mural exhibition under the Métropolitaine, produced by the Quartier des arts du cirque. www.fullofsoul.ca

She has been hosting shows since 1991. Since 2022, she has co-hosted Pa t’mentir (Radio-Canada, winner of Gémeaux and Numix awards) and has collaborated with PAN M 360. She produces and hosts Nouveaux Départs, a podcast on immigration (Canal M, 2025). She hosts Vrix Radio for DjRadio.ca. She is a board member of L’AMUQ (Association musique urbaine Québec) and serves as artistic director of a documentary on Afro-ecology (NFB, 2026). Also known as DJ Ladyspecialk, she has been DJing for charity events for at least fifteen years.

From 2014 to 2023, she was the founder and owner of Boutique Espace Urbain, a multifunctional space offering rental, coworking, and promotional services. Driven by collaborative values, the space served approximately 100 creative entrepreneurs from immigrant backgrounds. A leader in Afro-Canadian fashion, catering to an inclusive clientele that is curious and mindful of the impact of buying locally, ethically, and sustainably. Recipient of the Innovation Award at the 2023 IDEE Gala.

Since 2019, driven by her social and community commitment, she has founded Union Urbaine in St-Michel and Plaza St-Hubert. A cultural and artistic organization focused on the economy and social integration, featuring sewing, Afro-Quebec fashion, art, and retail.
