Omar

A Montreal-based artist originally from Mexico. She recycles and repurposes found materials, elements, and styles. She creates artistic experiences that subtly explore themes of diversity, destiny, and identity. Her eclectic, vibrant style—sometimes with a touch of humor—is expressed through depictions of objects, fantastical animals, characters, and everyday scenes. He specializes in Mexican art history, holds a bachelor’s degree in graphic design, and has extensive training in painting, performance art, video art, video animation, and digital art under the guidance of Ariel Guzik, Isaac Kerlow, Björn Melhus, Klaus Vom Bruch, and others. He actively collaborates with renowned artists and organizations—such as the CALQ, MBAM, MU, DAM, and TYXNA—in the creation of public artworks and as a jury member.
