Angie Warholl

Angie Warholl is a Canadian-Yugoslav artist based in Montreal. She draws inspiration from everyday life and translates it into a vibrant style that blends pop art and street art. She has created a character that she often uses as a mascot, incorporating it into various worlds and scenarios. For “Nature and Wonder,” she pored over her sketchbooks and drew inspiration from the Canadian wilderness she has observed throughout her life, interweaving it with our presence on this earth. She has created murals, graffiti, album covers, posters, fashion designs, and other mixed-media works. In her murals, she often includes the words “create” and “destroy,” as a philosophy inspired by yin and yang that invites people to reflect on these extremes and everything they have in common. She hopes to inspire and build a more colorful future, accessible to all.
